Steinwinder & Ratliff, LLC is comprised of two experienced, caring divorce attorneys: Catherine R. Steinwinder and Jamie Guy Ratliff.
Catherine R. Steinwinder Catherine “Katie” Rushing Steinwinder was raised in Elba, Alabama, and graduated from Troy State University. Prior to earning her law degree from the University of Alabama Law School, she worked for Governor Jim Folsom, Jr.
Upon graduating from the University of Alabama Law School, she worked for the Hon. William A. Shashy, 15th Judicial Circuit and the Birmingham law firm, Starnes & Atchison.
In 2005, Katie returned to Montgomery to launch her own practice, focusing on family law issues and appellate practice.

Jamie Guy Ratliff Jamie Guy Ratliff was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies and a minor in Law Enforcement and Sociology from Samford University in Birmingham in 1997. She then worked as a paralegal in Montgomery until returning to law school in 2004. Since her admission to the Alabama State Bar in 2007, her practice has focused on family issues, including appellate practice.
